Leave no barrel of fluid unaccounted for with our robust volume tracking system.
One of the biggest discrepancies between drilling fluids companies and operators is who’s responsible for lost or unaccounted for fluid. Our volume tracking system allows mud engineers to track whether the volume was lost on the surface (evaporation, shakers, centrifuge, left in pits, transport loss) or downhole to the formation.
So much can happen in a day. In MudWorks volume tracking system, one report’s ending volume carries over to the next report’s starting volume. From here, engineers can perform a daily charge off, balance check, or calculate the over-lease volume. Figuring out where fluid is going and who is responsible for the cost is paramount.
All volume tracking data is compiled in aggregate to tell the narrative of the well. If there are problems with a field ticket after the well has been completed due to lost fluid, our system allows coordinators and management to go back into our volume accounting recap to figure out what happened to each and every barrel. Mistakes here can mean the difference between a profitable well and a non-profitable well. MudWorks takes the guesswork out of the equation.
