Inventory Reporting

MudWorks lets you track your inventory on a well and from well-to-well using a simple and effective interface.

We know how important accurate inventory is to operations. We’ve found this feature to be the most important part of the drilling fluids software service to our clients. We know that inventory accounting can make the difference between making money and losing money. It’s easy to lose track of material on location and often credits back to the client need to be accounted for. We also know that there are situations where you don’t want confidential prices of mud materials to show on mud reports and some situations where they need to be present. MudWorks solves these problems easily.

With MudWorks, transfer balances to new wells when you start a job, keep track of inventory received and daily balances, and account for daily and cumulative usage and costs. Previous amounts are carried over so you never have to enter beginning inventories. All you have to do is transfer one well’s inventory to the next when you start a job. Field tickets take input data and populate automatically. If there is a long well and you want to send multiple invoices, choose a starting date and ending date and bill accordingly.

Each field or lease is unique and may require different fluid systems and pricing depending on your clients. Create product and pricing templates for each and every client. When you are ready to plan a batch of wells, grab the corresponding template, clone it, and create your new wells with the product lists easily transferred over.

In addition to inventory, you can track any number of daily or fixed additional costs for your project. We create specialized lists per client of daily costs (engineer rates, mud plants, etc.) needed. Choose if you want certain items to include tax or exclude it. We like to think we’ve thought of everything when it comes to accurate inventory tracking.
